Support to Geriatric Out Patient Clinic of Banchbo at Sundarban

Year of Establishment: 2021

Motto: To offer complementary multidisciplinary consultations from geriatric doctors, distribute medications, and provide free ECG services to the marginalized elderly population in Sundarban who are unable to visit hospitals due to physical limitations and lack of companions, resulting in inadequate follow-up for their chronic conditions.

Coverage Range: Various remote locations in Patharpratima block - the largest block of Indian Part of the Sundarban, including Digambarpur Gram Panchayat, Ramnagar Abad, K Plot, Surendranagar, and Banashyamnagar, among others.

Approximately 100 seniors each month from numerous remote islands in Patharpratima undergo treatment. With this assistance, a significant number of elderly individuals can maintain their health and enhance their physical and mental well-being.
